Types of Ergo Baby Carrier

As the Ergo Baby Carrier has become ever more popular, a wider range has been brought out.

The first Ergo baby backpack was the Classic, which was discontinued some years ago.

It was replaced by the Ergo New Generation (sometimes called the New Gen) and now known as the "Original Ergo Carrier".

An range of organic cotton Ergo Carriers is also available, some with beautiful embroidery on them.

Some taller men reported that they found the Ergo Original to be a little short in the body for some, so the Sport Ergo Carrier was introduced. It will fit women from around 5' 4" all the way up to 6' 5" men.

For very active parents, and those living in hotter countries, the Ergo Performance was introduced in 2010. It is made from high performace materials, rather than the 100% cotton or organic cotton of the Original Ergos.

The latest Ergo Carrier to be brought out is is the Ergo Options - the first solid black Ergo that can be purchased on its own or with a set of extra covers that can be used to vary the look of your baby sling.
